The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and replacement of window units across various construction projects, ensuring all fittings are compliant with safety regulations and meet our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Measure, install, and ensure proper fitment of window and door units.
- Remove old windows and dispose of them in accordance with company policies.
- Work with different materials such as vinyl, aluminIum, wood, and fiberglass.
- Collaborate with contractors and other crew members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all installed units.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring their satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Window Fitter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with various types of windows and installation methods.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a trade would be a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Drivers licence and ability to travel to different job sites within the region.
Perks and Salary
up to £130 per day dependant on experience
